While Whenua and Nuju were searching the Archives for the Onu-Metru Great Disk, Nuju at one point was weakened by a frost leech.1
Frost leeches were a type of Rahi and were a real pain. Their body temperatures were extremely low, so the only way they could keep functioning was to leech heat off of other things, preferably living things.2
