Gaaki was a Toa Hagah2 of Water mutated by Roodaka into a Rahaga.3

Gaaki was always trying to prove herself to her fellow Rahaga, sometimes plunging into dangerous situations just to show she could handle them. Her specialty was hunting water Rahi. Her Rhotuka floater could fly through the depths, attaching itself to a Rahi and bringing the creature to the surface.4
As a Rahaga, Gaaki specialized in capturing Rahi swimmers such as Takea and Makuta fish. Her Rhotuka spinner had the floater power — it would attach to its target and carry the Rahi to the surface of the water. She carried a staff which she used to bait Rahi by striking the water with it.3
