On Metru Nui, physical violence between Matoran was almost unheard of, but Matoran with serious disagreements were known to engage in disk dueling. Standing on opposite sides of an akilini field, Matoran slung disks at each other. The first one to hit the other won. Unfortunately, depending on the disks used, these duels could have very serious effects. One Matoran was shrunk so small that he still had not been found as of mid-story year 2004. Another was reconstituted into something so grotesque that he almost wound up on display as a Rahi in the Archives. Disk dueling was highly illegal and was certain to bring swift action from the Vahki.1
