Water wraiths were small Rahi fish. Their outer shells were coated with deadly poison. They were so small and unassuming that larger fish did not consider them to be worthy prey. Occasionally an emboldened water wraith would attack a larger creature, which would die instantly as it tried to swallow the poisonous water wraith, leaving the wraith to feed off the larger creature's carcass.2
