• Hoi and Vorahk were excluded from the encyclopedia because their names came from another language and were likely sensitive terms. Mukau was excluded because Bob Thompson believed the name was too silly for BIONICLE.¹

• The encyclopedia was dedicated in part to Crystal Matrix and another BZPower member [Pekel] because of their work on Biosector01, which was a big help to Greg Farshtey when he was putting the book together.²

• Greg Farshtey mistakenly wrote the kraata entry with a direction to a separate entry on shadow kraata, which was not included in the encyclopedia.³
