A monstrous spider crab was one of many creatures mastered by the Barraki for use in battle. Its maximum submerged speed was 25 knots (46 km per hour). It had a 40-centimeter-thick shell. It could carry one passenger. Its natural tools were claws, tentacles, and armor spikes. The spider crab was the only sea creature feared by the Terrain Crawler.1
