Hydraxon
The original Hydraxon, jailer of the Pit, died in an earthquake over 1,000 years ago. The power of the Mask of Life transformed the Matoran Dekar into a new Hydraxon. A relentless tracker and skilled weapons-master, Hydraxon believed that everyone in the Pit, including the Toa Mahri, was an escaped prisoner who had to be recaptured. His weapons were explosive boomerangs, wrist knives, and a Cordak blaster. The new Hydraxon had all the memories and skills of the old one but did not remember that he was ever Dekar.2
The second Hydraxon used a variety of weapons, including razor-edged explosive boomerangs, wrist knives, and a Cordak blaster.6
The second Hydraxon had no memory of his death and believed that the Barraki were lying when they said they had killed him before.14
The original Hydraxon was a member of the Order of Mata Nui, the jailer of the Pit, and the trainer of the Toa Mata. When the Mask of Life needed a new warrior, it transformed the Matoran Dekar into a duplicate of Hydraxon. This new Hydraxon had the memories of the old one and had no idea that he was once a Matoran. Hydraxon was armed with a Cordak blaster, back blades, wrist blades, and explosive boomerangs. As of the end of story year 2008, he remained in the ocean, hunting down escaped prisoners and jailing them again.15
Hydraxon didn't have mask powers.16
Hydraxon didn't wear a mask.17, 18, 19, 20

Hydraxon did his duty. It wasn't a question of whether he liked or disliked it, he did what he had to because it was important.22
Hydraxon breathed water.23
Hydraxon was amphibious.24, 25
Hydraxon wore a breather helmet to breathe in the restored Pit.26
The original Hydraxon was revived on the Red Star after his death. This means that there were two Hydraxons living at the same time: one on the Red Star, and one in the Pit.27
Hydraxon was an Order of Mata Nui member before coming back from the dead.28
