Takanuva encountered small beings wearing black and purple armor in another dimension on his way to Karda Nui. Large numbers of these beings invaded a massive city originally inhabited by large, intelligent beasts. They were unsuccessfully trying to fight off the last of the former inhabitants when Takanuva mistakenly helped them drive him away.1
