The protosteel talons1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, also called steel talons9, were a three-pronged, claw-like weapon that served as Hahli's Toa tool while she was a Toa Mahri. Hahli could use them to channel and focus her elemental power of water. They were made of protosteel5, making them strong enough to pierce Makuta armor.3 Combined with Hahli's mastery of water, they made her a formidable oceanic warrior.3
Hahli acquired the protosteel talons when she was transformed by the Mask of Life from a Toa Inika into a Toa Mahri. Presumably, her former laser harpoon was transformed into the protosteel talons. Hahli presumably continued to use the protosteel talons on Spherus Magna.
