aero slicers

The aero slicers were a pair of bladed weapons that served as Matau's Toa tools when he was a Toa Metru.^{1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8} Matau used them to channel and focus his elemental power of air.³ They were strong enough to cut through energy fields.³ The aero slicers could be attached to Matau's back and serve as glider wings that allowed him to soar through the air.^{3, 5, 6, 8}

Matau selected these weapons from a compartment in the Toa Suva when he first became a Toa.^{9, 10} When Matau was mutated into a Toa Hordika, the aero slicers mutated into fang blades. When Keetongu cured him, the aero slicers returned to their original form.^CN They transformed into Matau's Kau Kau Staff when he became a Turaga.^{11, 12, 13}
