The Chronicler's Staff was a tool carried by the Matoran Chronicler. The original Chronicler's Staff was lost with the disappearance of Kodan. On Mata Nui, Turaga Nokama carved a new one for Takua to carry during his time of service. In addition to being decorative, it was used to scratch letters into the Wall of History. It was later passed on to Hahli.1
